Privacy Policy for Playfold
Playfold is developed and published by Button Burrow Games. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Playfold. Playfold is designed as an offline-friendly puzzle game and does not require you to create an account.
Information stored on your device
Playfold locally stores game progress and completed puzzles; scores, statistics, streaks and achievements; hint and coin balances; selected themes and settings; unlocked features and purchase entitlements; temporary-access expiry times; and Enrichment Lab votes and experiment state.
This information provides the game’s features. Button Burrow Games does not operate a cloud account or cloud-save system for it. It generally remains until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it. Some purchases may be restored using ownership information supplied by Google Play.
Firebase Analytics
Playfold uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand use and improve features, reliability and design. Events may include app launches and screen views; game and difficulty selections; puzzle starts, completions and outcomes; feature use; rewarded-ad access; purchases and entitlements; Enrichment Lab access and voting; and app, device, operating-system and diagnostic information.
Playfold does not intentionally send your name, email address, puzzle contents, payment-card details or precise GPS location through its custom analytics events. Where required, analytics collection is controlled by choices presented in the app. Google processes analytics information under its privacy terms.
Rewarded advertising
Playfold uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertisements. It does not require advertisements between puzzles; an ad appears only after you choose an advertised reward or temporary-access option.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address for general location; Advertising ID, App Set ID or similar identifiers; app launches, taps, ad views and interactions; device, app, diagnostic and performance information; and information for advertising, analytics, security and fraud prevention. You can review available privacy choices in Playfold and reset or delete your Android advertising ID in device settings. Declining a rewarded ad does not prevent normal puzzle play.
Google Play purchases and rentals
Playfold uses Google Play Billing for optional digital products. Google Play processes payments; Button Burrow Games does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details.
Playfold receives limited purchase information such as product identifier, status, purchase token and time, acknowledgement or consumption status, and current ownership. This delivers purchases, restores eligible permanent products, applies time-limited access, and responds to refunds or revoked purchases. For time-limited Enrichment Lab access, Playfold stores expiry locally and removes access when it ends.
Enrichment Lab
Playfold may locally store whether access is active, its expiry, the experiment and version shown, your thumbs-up or thumbs-down vote, and whether that installation has voted. A corresponding Firebase event may measure general interest. Playfold does not operate a user-account database or public voting profile, and votes are not associated with a name or email supplied to Button Burrow Games.
Use and sharing
Information may be used to operate features, save progress and settings, deliver and restore purchases, provide optional rewarded ads, understand use, measure experiment interest, diagnose errors, improve performance, prevent fraud or invalid ad activity, and meet legal or platform requirements.
Button Burrow Games does not sell personal information. Google may process information through Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob, User Messaging Platform, Google Play Billing and Google Play services, under its own terms and legal obligations. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the developer or the service.
Your choices
You can decline optional rewarded ads and purchases, review in-app privacy choices, change Android advertising-ID settings, clear Playfold data, uninstall Playfold, and use applicable Google account and advertising controls. Clearing data or uninstalling may remove local progress, settings, balances, votes, statistics and temporary access records.
Children, security and international processing
Playfold is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed toward children. Button Burrow Games does not knowingly request names, contact information or account registrations from children through Playfold.
Playfold uses established Google services for analytics, advertising, consent and billing. Google states that data collected through the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic processing or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Google and its service providers may process information outside your country under applicable safeguards.

This policy may be updated when Playfold’s features, providers or legal obligations change. The date above will be updated for material changes.
